I think the SCA is a new social group that I didn’t have before. One thing you learn as time goes on is that if you don’t constantly meet new people, you end up by yourself. I’m not working at University any more, so there’s a limit on things I can do.
Now that I’m working all the time, I need something that I’m doing in my spare time. I’m not really into sport that much, so short of joining a tennis club there aren’t really many places where I would enjoy hanging out. I’m not really into going to pubs or nightclubs, which is what some people do.
