People tend to over-react to things, I guess. If they would stop, sit down, calm down, have a hot chocolate, think about something else for a couple of hours, then they might do a bit better.

If you get any large group of people with an organisational committee, you’re automatically going to get some form of political one-upmanship. There’s a difference between the formal politics of inter-kingdom things and relationships with superiors, and the smaller group back-stabbing which occasionally goes on. Definitely not nice, but you’re going to get that with any organisation of people. It’s possibly human nature.
