If everyone in the SCA actually did what they said they wanted to do, which was to go by their persona names and act living like medieval people, that would be fine. But they don’t. They’re always talking about computers and bits and pieces, and all these things that you’re not meant to do, they do.
It’s hard not to notice the politics or be touched by it. There seems to be three camps: Amberhearth, the Bruce clan, and those other guys — the Barony. I would consider that I’m not part of any of those camps, because I’m not somebody’s little friend.
