Giving the Black Company a name was in reaction to other people being perceived to be leaning on us, more than anything else. It wasn’t ever seen as an organised group, and still isn’t organised. But when people stated picking on KAOS it drove quite a lot of people to start thinking of themselves as being in KAOS and the SCA, whereas that was never really something people had thought about before.
