We work on Web sites that link into databases, and make the software to automate that. These days, most print publications have computerised production, so they have their content in computerised form somewhere. We provide a facility whereby they can link that into our product and easily put an issue online.
I also do editing work, so half my time is spent turning dodgy English into good English on summaries of Japanese news items.
