It was Clubs Day 1995. I was wandering around in the UCSA building talking to Miriam and I signed up for the Debating Club, but the SCA table looked kinda neat.
You meet a definite range of people. I think in the beginning I was more interested in the people, but now I’ve become interested in the research side of things too. Part of that’s having more time. I’m possibly devoting a bit too much of it to SCA, but I’m at a time of life when I can do that so I might as well take advantage.
